This journey and business model began in 2002 when Dirk Cameron expanded his hospitality product, iHotelier, a central reservation system (CRS) into the European market. This was done through a strategic alliance in Spain with a focused investment for ramping up our sales and marketing efforts. In 6 months, our European division was able to get to break-even and added significant increase to our overall sales prior to the sale of our company in mid-2003. This expansion into Europe allowed our US based company to leverage the significant investment it had made into our CRS.
AVI is an extension of what Dirk and his network have been doing informally since 2002. AVI’s partners and networks are solid and prepared to expand our US based small-medium sized (SME) clients into new international markets.

We initially will assess the international market and product fit for our US client. This consists of evaluating the industry and technical skills of our in-country team and partners to determine if we will be able to execute successfully.
We will determine the lowest hanging fruit for the quickest way to a sale in the target country. This allows both sides to flesh out all the requirements to move forward with a representation office and/or distribution partner.
Once we have clearly developed a sales targeting process and/or closed our first sale, we move quickly to train our in-country team member or partner in our US client’s product and processes.
