Mr. Cameron is an international business development professional utilizing all his resources acquired over the last 25 years to serve both small-medium sized businesses (SME) and missional organizations who seek to expand products internationally and/or grow local businesses in those markets.

Since Mid-2016, Mr. Cameron independently began work with several US based SMEs that are seeking to expand their products and operations internationally. Mr. Cameron works directly with his local networks in various countries in Latin America, Eastern Europe and Sub-Sahara Africa to expand those products. He partners with like-minded organizations who have a strong presence in Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.

In 2011, Dirk along with a business partner formed a business as mission (BAM) consulting firm – Avanzar Ventures International – which assisted US SMEs in their growth and expansion strategies. In late 2013, Mr. Cameron led the acquisition of the assets of PHIS, a company that he co-founded in 2006. He led the company in 2014 until he successfully transitioned over to an experienced management team. Dirk continues to serve on the Board of Directors of this new company, Prognosis Innovation Healthcare www.prognosisinnovation.com.

Since 1999, Dirk has been involved with several startup companies. He has provided a significant portion of the initial equity in each venture and has taken the lead in the operations of each entity. In 1999, Mr. Cameron and a group of investors invested in iHotelier, a reservation and marketing company for independent hotels. In 2003, iHotelier was sold under favorable terms to TravelCLICK, a private equity backed company. In 2004, Dirk Cameron along with another group of investors invested in Prognosis Solutions, a Healthcare patient engagement company, in which he continues to provide leadership and direction. In November 2006, Prognosis Solutions successfully spun out a Healthcare clinical company, Prognosis Health Information Systems (PHIS), which provided Electronic Health Records (EHR) to hospitals and healthcare systems. In late 2010, Dirk exited the company after PHIS received a significant investment from a Venture Capital group.

Prior to this experience, Mr. Cameron spent 4 years (1993-1997) as the controller of an Ecuadorian Oil Trading company in Quito, Ecuador. He received his accounting degree in 1988 from Texas Tech University and his MBA from the Rice Jones School of Business in 2000. Since 2007, Mr. Cameron along with his wife have volunteered as the US representatives for a Christian community development ministry in Ecuador – Fundacion Amor y Esperanza www.amoryesp,.org. Since 2010, Mr. Cameron has also served on the board of Integra Ventures www.integrausa.org, a BAM ministry focused on Eastern Europe.
